We often find ourselves explaining how pain and movement problems are rarely just about a tight muscle, a stiff joint, or an irritated nerve.
The body, of course, is a somewhat complex and integrated system. Our joints, muscles, fascia, nerves, spinal cord and brain are constantly communicating with each other. When that communication becomes of a noxious or overprotective nature, the body can start to guard, tighten, ache, refer pain, lose movement, flexibility or be weaker, less mechanically efficent or less coordinated than it should.

This does not mean we are simply “putting bones back in place.” That is an outdated and overly simplistic explanation.
